Selection Trade-offs

DecisionOption AOption BVerify
Reactive resin vs urethaneMore friction response and backend potential on greater oil volumeEarlier, smoother and often more predictable on shorter or drier conditionsOil volume, surface state, speed/rev match and intended shape
High vs low differentialPotentially more flare and separation of oil ringsPotentially tighter track and smoother transitionActual core values by weight, drilling layout and PAP
Factory finish vs resurfacedReference starting stateCan tune traction or response but changes comparison basisAbrasive sequence, compound, games since service and cleaning method

Repeatable sample test

Environment: same lane pair and oil cycle. Method: ten valid shots per candidate through a defined launch window. Data: speed band, target crossing, breakpoint board and leave pattern. Reproduction: repeat after transition with surfaces cleaned and logged.

Limits: operator release variance, lane topography, oil carrydown, temperature, drilling and cover wear can outweigh small specification differences.
